Focus and Scope
Didache: Journal of Christian Education provides a vehicle for the scholarly interchange of research findings relative to every level of Christian education. Particular emphasis is given to Christian schooling within the Protestant tradition as well as to research findings from other traditions which have implications for such schools.
The purposes of the Didache: Journal of Christian Education are (1) to stimulate inquiry among scholars of Christian education on topics of common interest, (2) to serve as a clearinghouse for the organization and diffusion of emerging research on the Christian school, and (3) to communicate research findings that inform Christian educators as well as the wider society.
Articles and materials in Didache: Journal of Christian Education fall into four general categories:
Church education
This field includes categorical education, catechesis, church education programs
Indonesian context education
This section covers research in the field of education in churches, schools, and communities related to local wisdom in Indonesia.
Teaching and professional practice
This section includes pedagogical practice and curriculum matters related to specific subjects; action research projects; resources; 'cameos' or 'snapshots' of effective and innovative classroom practice.
Research and scholarship
A scholarly section that is comprised of refereed / peer reviewed articles including essays, philosophical papers, theological papers, biblical papers, research reports, and reviews or critiques of issues that are of special interest.
Educational administration
This category incorporates articles on school administration including relationships to the law, organisational culture and climate, decision making, human resources management and school development.
Reflections, impressions and experiences
A section that contains book reviews, conference notices and reports, reflections, impressions and experiences of Christian educators, including other matters of relevance and interest.

Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection softaware to do the similarity checking.
The research article submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers. The reviewers give scientific valuable comments improving the contents of the manuscript.
The Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to reviewers comments. Publication of accepted articles including the sequence of published articles will be made by Editor in Chief by considering sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors as well as a thematic issue.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
Didache: Journal of Christian Education has electronic backup and preservation of access to the content of its journals via PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). This can be seen at Publisher Manifest.
PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, seamless perpetual access, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access. Plagiarism Policy
All articles submitted to Didache must be free from content containing plagiarism. The article is the work of the author and not someone else's work. It has never been submitted to any journal and has never been published in any journal.
Plagiarism is an intentional or unintentional act in an effort to obtain credit or marks for a scientific work. Namely by quoting part or all of the work and/or scientific works of other parties which have been recognized as scientific works without stating the source precisely and accurately. This includes falsification, manipulation of quotations, or plagiarism in carrying out, conducting, or reviewing research and writing articles by authors, or in reporting research results.
Didache editorial board recognises that plagiarism is not acceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) upon identification of plagiarism/similarities in articles submitted for publication in Evangelikal. Didache will use Turnitin's originality checking software as the tool in detecting similarities of texts in article manuscripts and the final version of articles ready for publication. A maximum of 20% of similarities is allowed for the submitted papers. Should we find more than 20% of the similarity index, the article will be returned to the author for correction and resubmission.
Level of Plagiarism
Minor: A short section of another article is plagiarised without any significant data or idea taken from the other paper.
Action: A warning is given to the authors and a request to change the text and properly cite the original article is made.
Intermediate: A significant portion of a paper is plagiarised without proper citation to the original paper.
Action: The submitted article is rejected and the authors are forbidden to submit further articles for one year.
Severe: A significant portion of a paper is plagiarised that involves reproducing original results or ideas presented in another publication.
Action: The paper is rejected and the authors are forbidden to submit further articles for five years.
It is understood that all authors are responsible for the content of their submitted paper as they all read and understand Copyright Notice. If a penalty is imposed for plagiarism, all authors will be subject to the same penalty.
